The Tao
by PeacefulJourney
February 2012
I was introduced to the Tao Te Ching a year ago.  It’s the ultimate book of
wisdom, written around the 4th century BC, in ancient China by a man named,
Lao-tzu.  I was drawn to the Tao because of the simplicity of Lao-tzu’s wise words.

The Tao, meaning The Way, to me is a gentle and beautiful path.  It is about
flowing with the course of life without force and in a natural way.  For those who
wish to find a peaceful and joyful path, I would suggest you read this tiny book
with its eighty-one verses.  It’s beyond enlightening.  If you are familiar with Dr.
Wayne Dyer, you may wish to pick up his new book on the Tao, called Change
Your Thoughts – Change Your Life, Living the Wisdom of the Tao.  Dr. Dyer has
written an essay for each verse of the Tao.  His perceptions are quite
interesting.

I will leave you with my truth in a quote from Lao-tzu.
“I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion.”  -Lao-tzu
