Dear Miz Guided,
I have always been attracted to Civil War era memorabilia, especially things connected with the South. I can
remember watching Gone With The Wind on TV when I was a child and I just felt a place like Tara was my true
home. During my early school days I became obsessed with learning all I could about the Civil War and as I
grew older, my travel destinations were usually to the southern part of the US. I just love touring the old homes
and plantations. I actually feel like I’ve come home when I’m there. It’s crazy, because I’m so far removed from
being a southerner. I’m from Brooklyn.
I’m so obsessed with this era in history that I’m wondering if I could have been a plantation owner’s wife or
daughter in a past life. What do you think?

When I look at the possibility of reincarnation memories, I look for signs of early childhood attachments and
interests. You seem to possess these traits, as you say your obsession with the Civil War began as a child.
I don’t get an impression of you being a southern belle, however. I see you standing at 6’ 2” with wavy blonde
hair, wearing a southern officer’s uniform. I see you attempting to unsheathe your saber, but a bullet finds your
throat and you fall to your knees… Your last thoughts are about your home, your father and why you ever allowed
the Captain’s wife to tempt you.

I supported my boyfriend, for almost two years, while he supposedly wrote a book. Not only did I pay all his
living expenses, but I also lent him $15,000. to clear up his debt. He promised to pay me back $30,000. in total
for everything, once the book was sold. Well, I found out that he was cheating on me, for like a year and a half,
and I threw him out! I’ve been trying to get my money back from him, even in small payments, but he won’t
budge. He left his briefcase in the closet here, and he said after I give him the case he’ll make payment
arrangements. I don’t want to give him anything until I get a legal agreement. I know there must be something
important in the case for him to be so hot for it. It’s locked and I don’t want to pry it open, as I don’t want him to
find out that I was snooping. Can you please tell me what is in his briefcase?
